THERAPY FOR TEENS & YOUNG ADULTS

Hi 👋, I’m Sydney.

If you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure of what comes next, therapy can be a space to slow down, get curious about what’s happening beneath the surface, and better understand yourself. I offer a warm, non-judgmental space where you can feel seen, heard, and understood while also receiving honest feedback and support.

I work primarily with teens and young adults navigating anxiety, perfectionism, self-doubt, relationships, trauma, self-esteem, and life transitions. Being in your late teens or 20s can be exciting and full of possibility, but it can also bring uncertainty, pressure, and the feeling that everyone else has it figured out. My goal is to help you untangle what’s keeping you stuck, build confidence in yourself, and create meaningful change.

My Approach

I believe therapy should feel like a space where you can be honest, vulnerable, and show up as yourself. There is real power in feeling safe, seen, and understood in relationship with another person, and that meaningful healing can happen through a safe and supportive therapeutic relationship. We’ll work together to understand what’s going on beneath the surface and figure out what feels most helpful for you. Some days that may mean talking things through and making connections, while other days we might slow down, notice what’s happening in your body, explore your emotions, or practice a new skill.

I draw from cognitive, somatic, mindfulness, parts-based, and trauma-informed approaches, including EMDR when it fits your goals. Together, we’ll get curious about where your patterns come from, how they show up in your life today, and what might help you respond differently. My goal is to help you develop greater self-awareness, confidence, and flexibility while creating meaningful change that feels sustainable.
